Dover-Foxcroft women’s club news 

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Eleven members of the General Federation of Women’s (GFWC)/Miosac Club attended a Christmas party at the beautifully decorated home of Barb Austin. Members brought something sweet or savory to share.

Following dinner, members gathered around the fireplace to take turns choosing a gift. They   could keep what they got or take someone else’s for a fun time. At the end, all were pleased with their gifts. The club then adjourned to the dining room to share delicious dessert of cheesecake or cream puffs.

 

Previously the elves had been to Bangor and bought gifts for the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Community Christmas.

 

The club is in recess until Jan. 3, 2020 when members will gather for a potluck supper with hostesses Dot Finnemore and Vicki Moschella. They wish all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.
