Pine Tree Hospice annual meeting Nov. 17
SANGERVILLE — Each fall Pine Tree Hospice invites its volunteers, board members and members of the community to celebrate the continued commitment to supporting those who are living with life-limiting illness by attending the organization’s annual meeting and dinner. The meeting and dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the East Sangerville Grange beginning at 6 p.m.  The theme for this year’s meeting is “Hospice:  Creating and Preserving Memories.â€
Pine Tree Hospice serves 39 towns in Piscataquis, Somerset and Penobscot counties with volunteer hospice supports, such as caregiver respite, light housework, companionship and many other non-medical services. Trained volunteers make a difference in the lives of clients in many ways, such as providing caregiver respite, food preparation, light housework and helping with errands. Most of all,  Pine Tree Hospice volunteers offer a caring presence that listens and makes every attempt to see that the client’s needs are met, whatever they may be.
Please RSVP to 564-4346 or email wecare@pinetreehospice.org by Nov. 4.
